Since 2011 Chinantlan in cooperation with the organizations Horizont3000 from Austria, Casa del Joven Voluntario, GVC Italia, Acción Medica Cristiana and the Centro Clínico Bilwi, works in the project on education about sexual health for adolescentes and young adults. This project is realized in Chinandega and the Carribean Region of Nicaragua.

Workshops and trainings for adolescents

The part of Chinantlan in this projects is to realize workshops, meetings and trainings for adolecents, teachers, health workers and youth speakers from all 13 regions of Chinandega. Other organizations will realize the same activities in the Carribean Region of Nicaragua. In total the project will reach 290 000 adolscents between 12 and 25 years.

This projects is financed by the European Union with a total amount of 3.000.000 $ with a duration of three years (1.1.2011 - 31.12.2013).
